About Melissa

Becoming a makeup artist never initially crossed my mind. What started off as just a hobby and something I did for fun, has now become my passion. I’ve always loved helping people so, becoming a makeup artist seemed like a natural transition into helping others feel what I know is true about all people: that we are all strong and beautiful in our own way. Being able to help others discover that is something I find truly exciting. The most memorable event I’ve had the privilege of being a part of is being on the JLS makeup team for the Thea Awards this past year. Helping the guests of honor look their best before they present an award on national television was such an honor. Being on the JLS team not only gave me the opportunity and tools to succeed as a makeup artist, but it has also brought such an amazing and supportive group of women into my life. We are constantly learning from each other, and striving to become even better stylists than the day before. It is truly such a blessing to be a part of the JLS team!
